For this we should avoid watching TV. It has many disadvantages. Watching TV means wasting our valuable time.

The rich people or owners of industries try to brainwash our mind. We are dulled and completely passive. We are losing our creativity. We shouldn’t sit on sofa to watch TV for a long time. They confuse us advertising their goods. It is difficult to know what reality is and what we have to select among them. They brainwash with their false advertisement. We can read books to entertain ourselves.

The writer is totally against TV. But TV has some advantages. We listen as well as watch TV and become familiar with foreign culture. We can use TV in teaching learning activities. We can’t say TV is only the total waste of time. I depend on use. The language of this text is easy to understand there aren’t complex sentences in the text.

  1. Assimilation

After reading this text I knew that TV has many disadvantages than advantages. I became conscious of watching TV. I used to give much importance to watching TV but by reading this text, it chaged my attitude towards watching TV. As soon as I get money, I will replace my TV set with bookcase and read story books that make me creative as well as civilized.
